Problem: WordPress Permalinks are not working locally.
Environment: OS: Ubuntu 14.02LTS, default: apache2, php, mysql
Solution: For enable wp permalink we have to aware about these.
1. mod_rewrite module is not enabled by default.
2. AllowOverride directive is set to none by default
To enable mod_rewrite module use shell command: sudo a2enmod rewrite
Replace "Allowoverride none" to "Alloworerride All" in apache2.conf
Restart apache2: sudo service apache2 restart
